EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND ASSISTANCE
WOSMOH offers many classes in our "Alpha Leadership" course, including Financial Literacy skills. In addition to that, in our Human Resources workshops, we teach interview skills, hold mock interviews, and offer assistance with resumes and platform communication.
Our end goal is to develop these youth as leaders, and connect them with job opportunities, and provide guidance to help them sustain that employment.
Pictured below was our "TAY Hope Resource Fair", from our WOSMOH Hoops 3x3 Charity Basketball Tournament where youth had an opportunity to meet with possible employers, schools, and mental health resources to see what opportunities they could be afforded.
In addition to our Human Resources workshops, WOSMOH offers some youth paid internship opportunities, and employment to young adults who seek it. Over the years, we have assisted thousands of young men and women obtain and sustain their employment status. We are always looking for more community partners who would like to assist in these efforts.
