WOS & MOH is a non-profit community service organization dedicated to providing support to young men and women that may have been incarcerated and/or in the Foster Care system. We began operating in 1998 and have provided services to numerous men and women and their families in our communities. We are supported through donations of individuals, churches, businesses and civic organizations.
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Rosalinda P. Vint
Growing up, Rosalinda was a ward of the court, in the Los Angeles County Foster Care system. As such, she could relate to the feelings of abandonment and the loss of hope that often accompanies the youth. Her experience within the system taught her perseverance, and gave her the determination to never give up finding the good in anyone. Together with her husband, Dave, and with the many volunteers and supporters of WOSMOH, Inc., she is changing lives while "Helping to Save One Youth at a Time!"
Rosalinda is licensed Chaplain by the International Foursquare Church of the Foursquare Gospel with a Chaplain License. She graduated from Biola University, receiving a Bachelor's of Science in Organizational Leadership. She was a Senior Executive with a Fortune 500 company for 25 years. During her career, she was nominated for numerous leadership awards and even received the company's top honor. Now she partners with various organizations and companies to bring training and resources inside Juvenile Detention Facilities and Group Home so that the youth can transition well before being released.
Outside of WOSMOH, Rosalinda served several years as President of the Citizens Advisory Committee at VYCF, and was a volunteer Chaplain host for Yang-Young Adult Action Network group at California Institute for Women in Corona, CA. Among her other recognitions she received a Congressional Recognition from Grace Napolitano, 38th District and a Certificate of Recognition from Carson City Mayor, Jim Dear.
